ok on monday me and meh family went to see queen + paul rodgers live i always liked queen but didnt know how good paul rodgers would be filling in for him (hence why its called "queen +" cause you cant replace freddy mercury.)
i had heard their new album but was only really impressed by it apart from 3 of their songs although i havent heard the other disc yet maybe theres more gold on there.
the question to if paul rodgers measures up to mercury is a no but a good kind of no let me explain. mercury was really good and had loads of charisma and was over all amazing but paul rodgers seemed to have signifigantly less charisma and so played it cool and was just himself which is why he doesnt measure up because he didnt try to because he didnt try to be a fake imatation. but he still did a great job on pulling the crowd.
my sum up
the intro the most fucking amazing thing ever!! these first 10 minutes were the most mind blowingly awesome moments of my life. it kicks the shit out of any birthday, christmas, suprise present, your own birth, the sun forming, the universe exploding fucking anything! you had to have been there to know what im talking about. it was like tengen toppa gurren lagann all over again but all its awesomeness was squeased out and put into 10 mins. best intro ever end.
3 origanal songs including radio gaga which was fun
2 new songs the first the one i liked the second everyone went to go for a pee cause appriently no one wants to listen to paul rodgers play a acostic guitar and sing.
tribute to some guy from free i think i didnt know who it was but it sounded like he was dead.
brian may and the drummer then started a song they dedicated to freddy murcury where the audience were allowed to sing along. the whole band then eventually came down to join him.
then the band left bar the drummer and bassist which the drummer drummed on the bassists bass making rythmic tunes and did the bass tune from under pressure which was realy cool
the drummer then played on his one drum till he had a whole set down at the long area in the middle of the crowd.
some more new songs.
then came bohemian rapsody which had the vocal pre recordings of freddy mercury from a previous tour which showed a montage of his life till half way through where it switched to the singer and the rest of the band. it was really memorable because everyone was singing along to it and i think it really pulled on people heart strings this one.but basically i think that won paul many +points in the people who didnt really know him.
then the traditional we will rock you and other songs before the cosmos rock song.
then a oncore which i cant remember but it was still awesome.
bows then they left. there was more to it than that but thats the main amount of what happened.
anyway after we came back the internet was down cause we are soon to move back into our lovly new shiny clean and now up to modern specs house. should have moved in about 3 weeks from now fully then we can claim on my new computer and my stuff
yeah thats my news btw zero i got my internet back now D you wanna stay up all night and be nerds?
Lol. What made me notice was I was looking back on Surfs Up, where you had done the voice acting, I thought I had spelled your name wrong and I felt horrible.
